Shoes & Textiles Collection

This collection service is designed for small quantities (carrier bag) of textiles. If you have a larger quantity (sack/s), you may like to enquire about our household collection service

Recycle in 3 easy steps

Step 1 Step 2 Step 3

  Label bag of textiles

Place in a standard size carrier bag - tie the bag to keep the contents clean and dry. Place the carrier bag next to your refuse bin or food caddy on your refuse collection day. Label the bag as 'textiles' so that it can be identified by the refuse collection crew.

We will be unable to collect any bric-a-brac, duvets/pillows, rugs/carpets or wellington boots left out for collection.

Remember - good quality clothing is also welcome at your local charity shop.

Where do the textiles go?

The textiles are packed into large containers and transported to a sorting plant in east London, ready for either reuse or recycling.
