Changes to SPA SANGS contributions

The capacity at Chobham Place Woods SANGS has now been exhausted and the Local Planning Authority will therefore be looking for applicant's submitting proposals for new residential development resulting in a net increase in residential units to mitigate any adverse impact on the integrity of the protected site by making financial contributions towards the SANGS at Hawley Meadows.

The capacity of the Hawley Meadows/Blackwater Park SANGS has almost reached its limit. Therefore anyone considering submitting a planning application for any new dwelling is asked to contact the Development Management Team (development.control@surreyheath.gov.uk) before plans and other documentation are prepared.

Applicant's attention is drawn to the fact that the Hawley Meadows financial contributions are dependent on the size of the unit and in all cases the contribution will be higher than they were for Chobham Place Woods.
