Local Development Framework (LDF)

New planning legislation introduced through the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires all local planning authorities to produce a new plan for their areas to replace existing local plans. These new plans are called Local Development Frameworks.

The Council is now preparing the Local Development Framework (LDF) for Surrey Heath to replace the existing Local Plan 2000 and to address planning issues in the Borough up to 2026. For more information on the LDF click on the following links.
