4. Deepcut Planning Applications

The Council expect a number of applications to be submitted over the next 15 years which will be crucial in helping to deliver the Deepcut Vision. In particular, applications relating to the Princess Royal Barracks, but there are also a number of other smaller sites around the Deepcut Area which will play a role in helping to create the sustainable, heathland village.

Scoping Report

Due to the scale of the proposed development the application will require an Environmental Statement. The Regulations enable a developer, before making a planning application, to ask the Local Planning Authority for its formal opinion (known as a 'Scoping Opinion') on the information to be included in the Environmental Statement. This enables the applicant to be clear as to what the authority considers are the aspects of the environment which would be affected.
