Planning Fees and Copying Charges

Town and Country Planning - Fees for Planning Applications (England) Regulations 2012
Revised Fees for Applications: These were agreed in both Houses of Parliament and came into force on 22 November 2012. Details of these revised fees are available via the link below.

A planning fee is not required if the local authority is satisfied that the proposed development relates solely to the carrying out of operations for the alteration or extension of an existing dwellinghouse or other operations, excluding the erection of a dwellinghouse in the curtilage of an existing dwellinghouse, for the purpose of providing a means of access to or within the dwellinghouse, or of providing facilities designed to secure the greater safety, health or comfort for a per with disability who is resident in that dwellinghouse, or at the time of applying for planning permission is not yet in residence.
