What is the Lightwater Village Design Statement Draft Supplementary Planning Document?
The Lightwater Village Design Statement Draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) will form part of the Local Development Framework for Surrey Heath.
The SPD is intended to add further detail to policies G4, H17 AND H18 of the Surrey Heath Local Plan 2000 and aims to:-
- Protect and enhance the local distinctiveness of Lightwater, in respect of its built environment and landscape, through guiding new development and other changes to the environment.
Lightwater Village Design Statement Supplementary Planning Document-adopted version
Following the Consultation exercise on the draft SPD, the SPD was adopted by the Council's Executive on the 23rd October 2007. A Consultation Statement was also produced setting out the consultation process followed and how the issues identified were addressed in the SPD. The SAR was also adopted and can be accessed below:
