A number of organisations support with parking enforcement in Surrey Heath.
Surrey Heath Borough Council
- enforce the parking regulations on all car park owned by Surrey Heath Borough Council
- help maintain the pay stations.
- monitor the overall appearance of car parks in Surrey Heath.
Surrey County Council
As of 1 April 2023, Surrey County Council has now taken over enforcement of on-street parking. This will include the following services, some of which will be carried out by the council’s new contractor - NSL (part of Marston (Holdings) Ltd):
- parking fines
- reporting illegal parking
- new resident permit applications and renewals
- resident visitor permits.
- operational and carers' permits
- parking bay suspensions and parking waivers.
Police
- may be able to help with vehicles that are causing a hazard but are not breaching a marked restriction. This includes vehicles causing a hazard on the pavement.
Private land
- is a matter for the land owners.
- may be able to help with vehicles that are causing a hazard but are not breaching a marked restriction.
