The Society has an active committee that meets every month to keep informed of the villages' affairs and to action any support required by our voice in the community. Our committee is an opportunity for residents to share and develop ideas to improve the ambience and amenities of our villages, to stand up for urban and environmental values that are threatened by development, and to fight exploitation or authoritarian decisions. More volunteers are always needed and wanted. We monitor all planning applications and local policies to help ward off the less considerate ideas that may impact our community. The Society can be your voice, so please tell us your concerns. We send notice to the correct authority when things are not right, anything from potholes to dirty signs, to antisocial noise and overgrown vegetation is highlighted in a non-confrontational way. |
