All tickets for Guildford's free Celebrating the London 2012 Olympic Torch event are now sold.
The tickets, including 12,000 prioritised for local residents, sold within four hours of being released.
Cllr Jen Powell, Guildford Borough Council's Lead Councillor for Culture and Leisure, says: "It's fantastic news that ticket sales were so strong and so many people are looking forward to joining us for this historic event. The celebration will mark the end of the Olympic Torch Relay's journey through Surrey and will offer thousands of local people and visitors the chance to share the Olympic spirit."
The celebration event will take place at Stoke Park on Friday 20 July. It will include local entertainment, family activities, regional food and drink, an exciting stage show and cauldron-lighting from the Olympic Torch, and a live performance from Rizzle Kicks.
The tickets were made available at 8am on Friday 18 May via Ticketmaster.
