Surrey Heath residents aged 50 plus can get fitter and healthier by signing up for free outdoor exercise classes in the run up to London 2012.
The hour-long classes will be held at the outdoor gym in Heatherside Recreation Ground every Tuesday and Friday over five weeks from 12 June.
Classes will be led by a qualified instructor from the Arena Leisure Centre and are designed to help users get the most out of the equipment with confidence and skill.
Equipment at the gym includes a skier, body twister, pull up bars, spinning wheels, a surfer and space walker.
The sessions are funded through the council's 2012 Celebration Fund that made grants available for community projects inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Portfolio holder for arts and leisure Councillor Craig Fennell said: "The outdoor gym is a fantastic way to get healthier through exercise in the fresh air and it's completely free of charge.
"The gym is already popular with many users and I'm delighted the 2012 Celebration Fund is being used to inspire more people to try it out and get into shape as London 2012 draws closer.
"The equipment is available for everyone to use so I would recommend anyone who hasn't already tried it should visit Heatherside Recreation Ground and give it go"
