Parents and children are invited to join in the holiday fun at Lightwater Country Park on Wednesday and Thursday (7 & 8 April), where a great time is guaranteed for all the family.
Join the Surrey Heath Rangers at the Heathland Visitor Centre at the park, where they will be staging their annual Great Easter Bunny Hunt. Visitors will have the opportunity to win prizes as they play detective and solve clues which will lead to some 'egg-cellent' rewards.
There will also be a chance to make Easter hats and the Farms 2 Ewe will be bringing all the fun of a farm to the park so come along and meet the animals!
Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it, bring along a picnic and discover the beauty of the rest of the park's 146 acres by following the self-guided nature trail or a climb to the peak of Curley Hill for the panoramic views.
The Easter activities run from 11am until 3.30pm each day and visitors can arrive at any time between these hours on either day and join in the fun and excitement. There is no need to book in advance.
The cost of taking part in the activities is £3 per child - with one accompanying adult free - or £3 for adults visiting the farm without children.
Lightwater Country Park is owned and managed by Surrey Heath Borough Council. Head of Arts and Leisure Nick Mowat said: "This event has something to appeal to everyone and is a great way to discover the beautiful surroundings and stunning views that Lightwater Country Park has to offer. The Great Easter Bunny Hunt marks the beginning of the council's new programme of countryside walks and events for the coming spring and summer, and I am sure this will be a fantastic start to the new season."
