Flourish Community Garden at Frimley Lodge Park was recently filmed for ITV1's brand new show My Tasty Travels with Lynda Bellingham.
The Community Garden has been running for over a year now, with Kate Turner as its community gardener. Kate has been working with the army wives group from Deepcut for several months and this was a fantastic opportunity to meet Lynda Bellingham and have the community garden featured as part of My Tasty Travels.
The series sees Lynda Bellingham take to the road in her vintage campervan "Battenburg" on a quest to seek out Britain's best summer eats and visit the people and places that make this country so special.
From country fetes to food and drink festivals; family picnics to cricket teas and street food to street parties; Lynda will immerse herself in the people and places that give this country its distinct seasonal flavour.
In every episode Lynda is tasked with a food challenge and her culinary skills are put to the test as she rustles up a variety of dishes. Her missions include baking a perfect Victoria Sandwich for the Women's Institute to creating a curry for the local lifeboat men.
Community gardening is a great way to get you fitter and feel better in a relaxed environment, ready to make new friends and learn new skills.
If you are interested in getting involved or volunteering at Flourish Community Garden, there are a range of opportunities on offer to suit your ability, from seed sowing to building compost bins.

The Community garden is non-profit making and is supported by Surrey Heath Borough Council.
'My Tasty Travels' transmits daily on ITV1 at 4pm.
