The Blackwater Valley lies on the boundaries of Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey, encompassing the 21-mile long River Blackwater, which stretches from Rowhill Nature Reserve in the south to Swallowfield in the north.

The Blackwater Valley Footpath is a new long distance path following the River Blackwater from its source in Rowhill Nature Reserve to Swallowfield and the confluence with the rivers Whitewater and Loddon.

Coleford Bridge to M3 Bridge Route
The Blackwater Valley Path is divided into 12 different sections Section 1 starts at the source of the River and section 12 finishes at Swallowfield Parish Hall. This is section 4 of the path heading northwards.
