Image of play area at WoodendPlay is essential to a child's physical and mental development.  Surrey Heath Borough Council encourages a healthy lifestyle through fun and play.

Surrey Heath Borough Council has 26 playgrounds, which are looked after by the Leisure Services Division. 11 of these are found in the Council's Parks and Recreation Grounds while others are to be found in various housing estates serving local residents.

There are other playgrounds in the villages of the borough provided by the 4 parish councils. As well as at:

  • College Ride Playing Field, Bagshot,
  • Chobham Recreation Ground, Chobham
  • Clews Lane, Bisley
  • Lightwater Playing Field, All saints Road
  • Rosewood Way, West End
  • Streets Heath Recreation Ground, West End
  • Windlesham Field of Remembrance
  • Dettingham Park, Deepcut


For older 'children' there are 3 trim trails at:

and skate parks at:

  • Crabtree Park
  • Mytchett Recreation Ground


Health and Safety Tips

  • Parents / Carers are asked to ensure young children are effectively supervised in all playgrounds and parks
  • Please keep dogs out of play areas
  • Please take all litter home
  • Respect the equipment - look after it
