Play is essential to a child's physical and mental development. Surrey Heath Borough Council encourages a healthy lifestyle through fun and play.
Surrey Heath Borough Council has 26 playgrounds, which are looked after by the Leisure Services Division. 11 of these are found in the Council's Parks and Recreation Grounds while others are to be found in various housing estates serving local residents.
There are other playgrounds in the villages of the borough provided by the 4 parish councils. As well as at:
- College Ride Playing Field, Bagshot,
- Chobham Recreation Ground, Chobham
- Clews Lane, Bisley
- Lightwater Playing Field, All saints Road
- Rosewood Way, West End
- Streets Heath Recreation Ground, West End

For older 'children' there are 3 trim trails at:
- Frimley Lodge Park
- Lightwater Country Park
- Crabtree Park
