Sheltered housing offers privacy and peace of mind for people over 60 years of age. It is not a care or nursing home - it provides you with a secure home with your own front door, plus the added security of door entry systems and a 24 hour emergency alarm. The accommodation consists of a mixture of one bedroom apartments and studio flats (the studios not being suitable for couples) grouped together in a Court.

Each Court has a Manager who is able to help you access local information and services, and respond to any emergencies. There is the opportunity to join in a variety of social activities, to meet new friends and pursue existing or new interests. None of these activities are compulsory; residents are free to take advantage of as many activities as they like. Sheltered housing also provides other facilities such as laundries, guest flats communal lounges and gardens.
