Your food waste will be collected on the same day of the week your refuse is currently collected, unless otherwise notified. Please remember not to leave your silver caddy outside on collection day - it is designed for indoor use only.

We recommend lining your caddy and container with newspaper. Alternatively 100% Compostable (corn starch) liners can be used. View more information about lining your food waste containers.

Surrey County Council figures show that approximately 4kg of food waste per household is thrown away every week. This is why Food Waste Collections are important. If you are one of our many home composters, please continue!

It's a service in addition to, not instead of Home Composting.
