About the Waste Collection Service in Surrey Heath
Surrey Heath Borough Council, via its appointed contractor (Biffa) collects household refuse from over 33,000 properties each week.

Recycling collections
| Recycling is collected fortnightly You can check your next recycling collection by viewing the Collection Day Finder (My Surrey Heath) Households have been provided with a green wheeled bin for mixed recycling. Residents can leave out excess on recycling collection day. |
Refuse collections
| Refuse is collected fortnightly. You can check your next recycling collection by viewing the Collection Day Finder (My Surrey Heath) Households have been provided with a grey wheeled bin for non-recyclable waste. The refuse bin is slightly smaller than the recycling bin because of the wide range of materials accepted for recycling. Please be aware that any excess waste left out on refuse collection day will not be collected. |
Garden Waste Collection
| A subscription-based Garden Waste Collection Service is available. The Green Waste Club is run by Verdant as a separate collection service. View more information about the Green Waste Club
