ROSEi the Recycling Elephant

ROSEi in the spotlight at the MuseumROSEi (Recycle, Old, Small, Electrical, items) was inspired by the Concrete Elephant one of Surrey Heath's well-loved local landmarks, located on the A30 (opposite Homebase).

Barbara Jones was commisioned by Trollope & Colls of Camberley to design this remarkable construction for the 1963 Lord Mayors Show. As innovators in concrete construction, the elephant is a creative showcase for their engineering skills.

ROSEi is currently on display at the Museum, she'd love to meet you

Come to the Museum and find out more about the history of the Concrete Elephant and claim your FREE pink mini bin for storing your used batteries*.
