An assembly on waste or recycling can be an effective way of launching a Recycling Week or Environment Week. The Waste Minimisation Team (SCC) offer exciting assemblies and activities as part of the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Education Programme for Surrey.

The A-Z of Waste

Look at household items that are commonly put into rubbish bins. Complete the alphabet then think about which item could be recycled.

The A-Z of (paper and card) recycling

BooksThink of an item made from either paper or card for each letter of the alphabet. Can you think of something of every letter of the alphabet?
