How do I claim my lost dog that has been picked up by the Dog Warden?

The Out of Hours Dog Warden Service is currently Dog Busters who will check your dog's identification and arrange a delivery time. Dog Busters may be contacted through the Surrey Heath Borough Council Contact Centre on 01276 707100.
Is there a charge?
Yes, it will cost £63 for the pick up and return of the dog during normal working hours and a further £15 per night spent in the kennels.
The out of hours charge to pick up and return your dog is £83 plus a further £15 per night kennelling fee and the cost of any veterinary treatment.
The total amount must be paid before your dog will be returned.
Payment during normal working hours should be made in person at the Council Offices.
Payments online for dogs collected out of normal working hours (after 4.30 Monday - Friday and weekends).
Once you have the reference number from Dog Busters (which is a 6 digit number i.e. 0136/08 if paying online), you will need to go online to make your payment through this link. Once your payment has been made you will be asked if you require an email receipt, your answer should be yes. Once the email receipt comes through, please forward this email onto Dog Busters to enable the return of your dog.
