Kitchen Food Waste

Some types of waste such as meat, fish, dairy, bones and cooked food waste can't be composted in a normal composter.

These types of food waste can be composted using one of the following food digesters;

• Green Cone
• Green Johanna
• Wormeries
• Bokashi

Surrey Heath operate a weekly food waste collection that enables both cooked and uncooked food waste to be recycled. This is part of the Recycling and Refuse Collection Service.
