Surrey Heath like many other Local Authorities accept plastic bottles for recycling. Plastic bottles are commonly made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or HDPE (high density polyethylene).

The small triangle, which can sometimes be found on the bottle or on the label, indicates which particular type of plastic that the object is made from. Unfortunately this is not present on all plastic objects but does provide a useful guide - where present!
