Cans and Newspapers for RecyclingWhat can I leave ready for collection?

Simply put your papers and cans out in separate carrier bags next to your refuse on collection day. Find out which day your refuse is collected by using the Online Collection Day Finder. This service is available every week.



Newspapers & Magazines

  • Newspapers
  • Junk mail
  • Pamphlets
  • Magazines
  • Catalogues
  • Directories

Please do not include cardboard or yellow pages as the paper collected will be recycled back into newsprint. The paper is taken to the transfer station at Slyfield (Guildford) then transported in bulk to Aylsford Newsprint for recycling.

Cans

  • (Aluminium) drinks cans
  • (Steel) food tins
  • ....don't forget your pet food cans

Please do not include paint tins (these should be taken to Community Recycling Centres at either Swift Lane (Bagshot) or Wilton Road (Camberley). Also remember to wash and squash cans where possible.
