Recycling Carrier Bags

Over 13 billion carrier bags are handed out in UK shops every year.
You can help to reduce this by:

• Taking a reusable bags with you when you go shopping
• Saying "No thanks you" to a bag when you don't really need one
• Re-using your carrier bags at least once or twice
• Returning your bags to a large superstore

Once you have reused your carrier bag as many times as possible, you can recycle it at any of the recycling sites listed below:

• Camberley
• Chobham
• Frimley
• Frimley Green
• Heatherside
• Lightwater
• Mytchett

Please do not put any rubbish in the carrier bag recycling containers as this can mean that the bags cannot be recycled as intended.
