Fluorescent Tube for recyclingLow energy light bulbs are a compact type of fluorescent tube, both of which contain toxic heavy metals such as lead, cadmium and mercury. It is important that these items do not end up in landfill as they can cause soil or water pollution.

These items can be recycled at your local Community Recycling Centres (tip/dump)

  • Wilton Road Camberley (near the junction of Park street and Frimley Road)
  • Swift Lane Bagshot (access via A322)

Since July 2005, fluorescent lighting tubes are classified as hazardous waste and must not be disposed of in with your general refuse.

Please Note: These sites are run by Surrey County Council so if you have and issues relating to either of these sites please contact county directly on 01306 748300.

Without you, it's all rubbish
Together we are making a positive difference- keep up the good recycling
