The Council will deal with the following pests free of charge in Domestic Premises:
- Bed Bugs
- Cockroaches
Please note a call out fee of £26 will be charged if no pest is actually treated
Fees from April 1st 2008:
Mice/Rats Domestic Properties
£31.00. There is a reduced rate of £15.50 to persons receiving Income related benefit.
Wasps
£43.50
£10 for each additional nest
£15 for people on income support/housing benefit/disabled
Animal Fleas
£43.50 - (1st four rooms)
£10 for each additional room
£15 - (1st 4 rooms) for people on income support/housing benefit/disabled
£5 for each additional room
Squirrels
£43.50
£51.50 invoiced
£10 for each additional visit
£14 for people on income support/housing benefit/disabled
£5 for each additional squirrel
Concessions
People on income support/housing benefit or are disabled are charged a reduced fee for all chargeable treatments.
Commercial Premises
Treatment for pests in Commercial premises are charged. The Council will not however treat infestations in Food Businesses.
- Rats/Mice - £21 per half hour visit plus vat plus £3.20 per kilo of bait/poison.
- Bees - treatment not undertaken. Please refer client to list of beekeepers.
- Ants - no treatment provided. Please refer client to purchase ant powder from garden centre or ironmonger.
- Wasps (1 nest) - £51.50 and are invoiced. £10 for each additional nest.
Payments for treatment in commercial premises are all invoiced.
