Bedroom tax

The Government have made changes to the Bedroom Tax rules following a legal challenge for families with severely disabled children.

The changes mean that families with severely disabled children who share a room with another sibling, may be allowed an extra bedroom when assessing size criteria in setting the maximum rent level.
