Browser Information

Why do I need 128-bit encryption?
128-bit encryption is a secure way of encrypting important information such as credit and debit card information, when such information is being transmitted over the Internet. To use the online payments facility on this website, your browser must be capable of using 128-bit encryption.

Does my Browser support 128-bit encryption?
Most modern Internet browsers will support 128-bit encryption. Usually this can be found out by checking the 'Help' or 'About' option on your browser menu.

Microsoft Internet Browser
Internet Explorer 5.5 and later versions support 128-bit encryption, unless you are using the MS Windows 2000 operating system. If you are using MS Windows 2000, please see note below.

Microsoft Internet Browser and Windows 2000 Operating System
If you are using the MS Windows 2000 operating system, Internet Explorer 5.5 will not automatically provide you with 128-bit encryption.

To achieve 128-bit encryption you will need to install MS High Encryption pack or install the latest Windows 2000 service pack. Once installed, this will upgrade your system to 128-bit encryption.
