Applications Register

The applications register shows details of applications that have been submitted but not yet determined. The last date for representations is shown but where this date has lapsed and representations have been received, the date of the hearing is shown.

For details of who is eligible to make representations and how those representations should be made, please see Information for Local Residents and Businesses.

Applications include plans and conditions that may be attached to the licence if the application is approved. Anyone wishing to make representations is therefore advised to view the licence application which can be inspected at Surrey Heath House, Knoll Road, Camberley between the hours of 10 a.m. and Midday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Under Regulation 5 of the Licensing Act 2003 (Hearings) Regulations 2005 the hearing to determine the application in this matter, has to be held on or before the 15 January. The hearing has in been arranged for the 7 January 2010.

Under Regulation 11 of the same Regulations, an authority may extend a time period provided for in the Regulations for a specified period where it considers this to be necessary in the public interest. Where an authority has extended a time limit it must forthwith give a notice to the parties stating the period for the extension and the reasons for it.

In exercise of the powers under Regulation 11 of the Licensing Act 2003 (Hearings) Regulations 2005, all members of the Adjudication Sub-Committee due to hear and determine the application of Vue Cinema on the 7 January 2010 have concluded that, in view of the present inclement weather conditions it is necessary in the public interest to extend the time for a hearing in this matter by a month from the 15 January.

Tomorrow's hearing will be vacated and will not therefore take place.
