The Council's next scheduled elections are the Borough and Parish elections in May 2011. However there is a General Election on 6th May 2010.
This Council is responsible for the administration of all public elections held within the Borough of Surrey Heath, covering referendums, local, parish, parliamentary and European parliamentary elections.

Who Can Access the Electoral Register
Anyone can look at it, but copies can only be supplied for certain purposes, such as elections and law enforcement.

Postal Votes
To vote by post all you have to do is complete an Application to Vote by Post form in full and return it to the Council.

Proxy Votes
A proxy is someone who is appointed to vote on the electors behalf.
