Elected in May 2011 to continue to represent the residents of West End. Appointed to the Executive to continue as Portfolio Holder for Organisational Development.
In 1983 and 1987 I was elected to West End Parish Council and served as Vice Chairman and Chairman.
My 45 years of construction, housing and development experience is very useful in assessing infrastructure and business projects in the Borough.
As Borough Councillor I have served on various committees and working groups. I have been chairman of Leisure Committee, Executive member - holding Leisure and Corporate portfolios.
I have recently retired as a trustee of Chobham Poor Allotment Charity having served for over 22 years - this charity helps residents and organisations financially in Chobham and West End.
My wife and I are members of the church choir of Holy Trinity, West End and St Johns, Bisley (this is a combined ecclesiastical Parish). This also helps me to keep up to date with local events.
Please feel free to contact me by using the councillor contact form, email, telephone or letter by using the details in the right hand box or by telephoning 01276 707100.
Over the years I have been involved in energy efficient buildings and I support energy saving initiatives at home and in commercial and public buildings. I am enjoying being part of the Council's programme for a more sustainable community.
As one of two ward councillors for West End we liaise with West End Parish Council on local issues.
I enjoy being a Borough Councillor in an area with 33,500 homes delineated by the Chobham Ridges into urban Frimley, Camberley, Mytchett and rural area of the 6 villages.
My Organisational Development Portfolio includes:
