Unhappy with a Councillor's behaviour?

The Monitoring Officer, on receipt of your complaint, will consider the complaint.

Please note that the Standards Hearing and Determination Committee can only deal with complaints about the behaviour of councillors. It will not deal with complaints in relation to matters which are not covered by the Code of Conduct. If you make a complaint to the Monitoring Officer, it must be about why you believe that a councillor has failed to observe the requirements of the Code of Conduct.

Complaints about the conduct of a councillor of Surrey County Council should be sent to the Monitoring Officer of Surrey County Council.
