Councillor Richard Brooks

I have lived and worked in Surrey Heath for thirty years both running my own businesses and working for others. I was first elected to represent the people of Town Ward in 2003. I have chaired and sat on several different committees and for the past five years on the Executive, I have been the Corporate Portfolio Holder. I am now Deputy Leader and portfolio holder of Finance.

My specific responsibilities are as follows :-

• Land Charges
• Procurement
• Risk Management

I am married to Lene and have six children the majority of whom have been through university and are now making their way in the world. Having worked in and around Camberley I am determined to develop The Town Centre into a vibrant family destination.
