The final consultation period has now ended.
Following on from the initial consultation undertaken earlier this year, the council received overwhelming support to proceed with the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). The implementation will help address a range of low level anti-social behaviour that relates to psychoactive substances, alcohol misuse, begging, responsible dog ownership and dog fouling.
The draft of the Public Spaces Protection Order is available below.
The order will be implemented from the 14th October 2017 subject to any significant issues arising from the final consultation.
