Q: How can I pay my Council Tax?
A: We accept payment of Council Tax through all the following ways:-
On-line payments by a range of debit and credit cards can be made through our website by clicking here.
Direct Debit
The easiest way to pay your Council Tax is by Direct Debit. Paying by Direct Debit takes away the hassle of remembering to write and send in cheques, renew standing orders or queue at a bank.
Once set up the Direct Debit continues each year and you remain protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. You will be sent a notification once a year of the amounts to be taken from your account
Paying by Direct Debit is also much cheaper for the Council as it saves substantial administrative time and expense processing cash and cheques. Such savings help keep the Council Tax as low as possible and fund vital local public services.
If you wish to pay by Direct Debit complete the form in your payment booklet orclick here to print a Direct Debit form to complete and post back to us or contact us on 01276 707176 and we will send you a postpaid form.
