Image of the Neightbourhood Watch logoMore than anything, Neighbourhood Watch is about working together as partners for a safer and more caring community.

The police and other local organisations can help with advice but successful crime prevention needs everyone to work together. That includes you and your neighbours. There are more than 240 Neighbourhood Watches in Surrey Heath covering well over 8,000 homes.

What does Neighbourhood Watch do?

  • Finds ways to make your community safer
  • Cares for the community and for the local environment
  • Knows what to do when crime, or other emergencies, occur
  • Enables neighbours to get to know each other
  • Works together with all other agencies to make your community a better place in which to live

Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators

Neighbourhood Watch schemes are usually set up with the assistance of members of the Surrey Heath Neighbourhood Watch Support Group, which offers advice and guidance and acts as a link between the police, borough council and Watch Coordinators.
