Whether you are looking to move within Surrey Heath, or move to another area, and are a housing association tenant then one option is to look for a mutual exchange.
This is where you find another housing association or Council tenant to 'swap' homes with. There are always people looking to move and this is often a quicker way to find a move than through a housing register.

If you find an exchange you must get permission from your landlord before making any arrangements to move. You should contact your Housing Officer for further information.

The best way to look for an exchange is to register with HomeSwapper, a national register of tenants looking for a move.

Once you register on HomeSwapper you will be matched to new homes that meet the criteria of what and where you want to move to, as these are added to the Website. These matches are placed in "My Matches"; a page on the website that only you can see when you login. You will also be prompted about new "My Matches" by email or text message.
