Surrey Chambers of Commerce Opens in a new windowAs the voice of business in Surrey we work in partnership with local authorities and various business groups to maintain a live conduit through to regional business communities. Using this unique link we highlight the key economic issues facing businesses, keeping Surrey Chambers and its members at the forefront of local economic growth and at the heart of strategic decision-making processes. Has three main purposes. Firstly, to provide a forum for local businesses to network which in turn benefits the local economy; secondly, to provide services and discount schemes which directly help businesses to be more cost effective and thirdly, to represent the view of businesses to government, both local and national. Membership of the Chamber is open to all businesses located or operating in Surrey Heath and surrounding area, and fees are dependent on company size, reflecting the scale of opportunity from financial and other benefits. Business Breakfast consultation meetings The council's consultation meeting, which take the form of a twice-yearly business breakfast, are held usually around the last Tuesday in January and September. All businesses in the borough are able to attend and discuss topical issues as well as finances.
