Mike DuffyMike Duffy - Local businessman
Owner Duffys Budgens Lightwater & Ash Vale, Londis Binfield, Georges Coffee Lightwater & Binfield.

I started my working life in food retail management with Gateway at age 17yrs, then joined Tesco and latterly Budgens. During this period I held lots of positions and managed lots of stores both big and small.

In 2005 I became self employed by acquiring the Budgens store in Lightwater after Budgens decided to sell their stores. This was a family decision and necessitated us selling our home and starting afresh.

My wife Jane, sons George and Edward now work in the shops with me. We are a small local, independent family run grocery business but with big points of difference, visit www.duffysbudgens.co.uk Opens in a new window
